Early in his life Senn decided to follow the route of design.
After training as a decorator he went on to study an art course at the Fine Art School in Sion.
Since 1982 Senn has been working as a freelance artist.
Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad followed.
1986 he co-founded the Art Museum in Örlikon which existed until 1996.
1990 receives a scholarship from the City of Zurich and paints for a year in Barcelona.
1991-92 studied at the scientific institute at the Goetheanum in Dornach.
1994 Group Exhibition; Beautiful Painting. At the Helmhaus Zürich.
1996-97 European tour together with Dominique Lieb, painting in 33 countries on site.
European success followed a report in the daily Anzeiger Magazine and an exhibition in the gallery Silvio Baviera.
1997 – ‘Object of Desire’ at Museum Bellerive Zürich.
1999 – working on Project Transit, travelling monuments.

Senn likes to be inspired by the coincidence of the objects and his work has also been referred to as 3 D painting.
